Cover Love Affair 16

It is that time of the week where I go from cover artist to cover lover. Check out these amazing and emotional covers! What do you think?

Have you ever had a book cover hit your emotions hard?

  1. Those are AWESOME!!! I absolutely love these, and similar covers that are so striking they make you stare and stare. They are more than just a pretty face on a cover. They have symbolic elements. Mystery and intrigue. Otherworldly-ness. COOL!! Thanks for sharing these.

I remembering being entranced by IMAGINARY GIRLS by Nova Ren Suma (the one with the blue water and the red-haired girl) and FALLEN by Lauren Kate, and HUSH, HUSH by Becca Fitzpatrick. Another one's title slips my mind--but it's a painting of a blonde with her hair swept toward a door, and her skirt billowing out toward it too. Unforgettable. :)

  3. The Obsidian Blade is gorgeous. Covers that got an emotional response out of me.

Last Stand of Dead Men by Derek Landy - immediately had me worried and fearing what that book would hold.
Ashen Winter by Mike Mulling especially when placed next to it's first book Ashfall had me worried.
The House of Dead Maids by Clare B. Dunkle immediately had me going NOPE. NOPE not reading that because I am a chicken. It's such a creepy cover -shudders-. (Thought to be honest I read the first chapter or prologue and want to get the book now).
Hourglass by Myra Mcentire and The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Mihcelle Hodkin are both quite haunting and Wither by Lauren Destefano is gorgeous but also quite sad.
