Teaser Tuesday

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

My Teaser:
Photobucket

the thing is, before Lena, I would’ve cared. I was just starting to wonder, I mean, if maybe I was under some kind of spell myself.
I didn’t do that.
I didn’t say you didn’t.
You just did.
I didn’t say you had cast a spell. I just said, maybe I was under one.

Should have my teaser up soon. Still debating if I want to use the book I am almost done reading today, or the one I am about to start next. (Or both!)

  7. Then I rearranged the ornaments on the mantlepiece --a framed photograph of my father, another of a woman I knew to be my grandmother, a pottery vase of dried flowers, a dish containing three hairpins and a single sugared almond from Cassis's christening. I turned the photograph against the wall. Page 74, Five Quarters of the Orange by Joanne Harris (who wrote Chocolat.)
