What? I won! YEAY!

I wanted to post a big shout out to the YA Indie Carnival!
Normally I don't post when I win something because it happens so rarely and because I feel that some posts can seem a bit like bragging and I don't want to seem like that kind of person but these authors are amazing and I want to say thank you to all of them! I am so thrilled to win! It made my week and I can hardly wait to start reading and posting recommendations on here for my favorites as I do!
I am just so thrilled!!!!
*dances*
*spins*
I want to say a big thank you so each and every one of you.

They have weekly giveaways and the authors are phenomenal!
Everyone stop by the blog and check it out!

While I am saying thank yous, I would also like to say thank you to everyone who reads this blog. You all make my life so much better. <3

New Premade Cover!

New premade cover
added to the
'covers for sale' tab!
$75 for this piece and implementing title/text/effects. <3
$150 to have it turned into a paperback cover (plus text/effects/etc.)

I had a lot of fun working on this one last night. I was watching this great new version of Peter Pan from Europe that had a really interesting twist on the series of events and back stories and found myself inspired. So while I was supposed to be taking a break after working on covers most of the day I did another one instead :-p
What do you think?
Do you want to take a trip to Neverland?

I was asked it my images can be posted on Facebook, Pinterest or other online location. While I would ask that you respect that I leave my images on my website un-watermarked so that they can be viewed as they would be used - here is a version of this piece that has the text added so that it can be pinned or shared. <3

Thank you as always to all my readers!

My thoughts on Dehumanized

My thoughts on
Dehumanized
by Michael Loring

I loved Dehumanized! This novel is so UNIQUE! It was well written, brilliantly paced and has fantastic character development (which is always a HUGE plus with me, I love a good character story arc). If I HAD to draw a comparison I would say it stayed close enough to the traditional werewolf to keep fans of the ‘Wolfman’ types of fiction happy but modern enough to draw more of a comparison to the hit tv show ‘Being Human’ or ‘True Blood’ (if True Blood had been appropriate for a larger variety of audiences and you added in a hint if science). But what really catches your attention are the ways that this series isn’t like ANY other werewolf series out there. It is a breath of fresh air and has everything I love in a novel. While it is classified as Adult Fiction I think that most age groups could relate. Ryan being 18 really puts him on that cusp between young adult and adult.

It has dystopian elements to it, science fiction elements and fantasy with a nice side of the heart pumping action you can find in some of the best thrillers. I am going through a serious dystopia phase with my purchases so my favorite elements were the unique twists on the future if lycanthropy were to go viral.

Overall, phenomenal debut for Michael Loring. Great characters, great overall plot and a must read for all paranormal, dystopian or werewolf lovers. I am definitely a fan and will be keeping an eye on all of his future releases. I can hardly wait to see what will happen next!!!

Check it out here!

Sincerely,
Emma Michaels

Dehumanized release!

Ryan Zachery lived his life the way all high school teenagers should - carefree
until he was attacked by an unknown assailer and awoke in the hospital with lycanthropy. Taken by armed guards and dragged away from everything he held dear, Ryan was thrown into a US camp made for those 'suffering' from lycanthropy.

They caged the beast, but now he will show them that he will never be dehumanized.
