Teaser Tuesday: Daughter of Smoke and Bone

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

My Teaser:

“She hadn’t expected to be sorry, and at first she wasn’t. The act itself was neither disappointing nor magical; it was what it was: a new closeness. A shared secret.
Or so she thought.”

  3. Loved this book! Not sure which makes it better, the writing or the story. Both are just amazing. I cannot recommend this book more highly. Only wish I had the sequel NOW!

  9. That was a really good book, and you know I don't say that often. Strange, but good.
