Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
My Teaser:
My legs crumble, and I crawl forward.
“Chloe?” I whisper. So faint that she wouldn’t hear me even if she could.

I just finished Shooting Kabul by N. H. Senzai. Her's a short teaser from her book.
ReplyDelete"Father," he cried in desperation, "let go." He tried to pull free of Habib's grasp but he was already on the back of the truck.
Father and son looked at each other in horror as the truck raced up the alley, leaving stragglers behind. Miriam was swallowed up in the dispersing crowd, a tiny little girl in a sea of strangers.
Oops. I didn't mean to put that first graph in there. Sorry.
