Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
My Teaser:
He snagged it out of the air and groaned. “You are so …superstitious!”
“I am a vampire. If that doesn’t prove that superstitious people are right, I don’t know what does.”
The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner by Stephanie Meyer – page 40
Happy Reading....

What a fun idea! I love this!!
ReplyDeleteI'm currently reading The Man in the Iron Mask. I usually love classics but this one is confusing the heck out of me! Posting a teaser from that book might be kind of hilarious, but I don't think it would prompt anyone to pick up the book. LOL!
Maybe when I'm reading something more contemporary, I'll try it. :)
Amy
Great teaser, I liked that.
ReplyDeleteMy teaser.

That's a funny teaser even if I'm not a fan of Twilight. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting mine.
I'm following you back now.
I have this on my TBR shelf. I'm trying to find time to squeeze it in. Great teaser!
ReplyDeleteI haven't got in to any of the vampire books, but this one could tempt me! Thanks for stopping by my blog!
ReplyDeleteNice Teaser!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog!
You got me, now I've got to read this one too! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat teaser. I'm trying to decide whether or not to read this. I read and enjoyed the Twilight series, but am not a huge devotee. Think your teaser has tempted me to at least put it on hold at the library.
ReplyDeleteGood one :) Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteA very good teaser! Really makes me curious!
ReplyDeleteGreat teaser. It makes me wonder if i should give Stephenie Meyer a chance.
ReplyDeleteThanks for dropping by on my blog btw :-)

I finished this a few weeks ago, I thought it was fantastic! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat teaser. I really need to read this book! Also, I can't wait to hear your good news!
ReplyDeleteWell, that's a good point!
ReplyDeleteI am not a Twilight fan AT ALL, but I did love this teaser. I won't be reading this novel, but I hope you enjoy it! And Thanks for stopping by my blog!
ReplyDeleteInteresting teaser! I'm not sure if vampires are really superstition so much as myth...but it makes for good dialogue. Nice choice! And thank you for visiting my teaser.
ReplyDeleteThat is a great teaser. I want to read this book! Thanks for following me. I am following you now too!
ReplyDeleteGood teaser -- I have this coming from a friend this week, who insists I read it before we see the new movie. Thanks for visiting me!
ReplyDeleteLOL cute teaser!
ReplyDeleteI've heard many good things about this book, but I should probably read the Twilight saga first... Or do I need to?
ReplyDeleteNice snippet! I haven't read this one yet, but as a Twilight fangirl, it is on my list.
ReplyDeleteVery nice. Hope you're enjoying it! :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't read this! I've read all the Twilight books but I can't for the life of me remember who the heck Bree Tanner is. lol. I know its an obscure character but I'm just confused. Is it worth reading?
ReplyDeleteOoooh, looks good. I can't wait to read this one! I think it's cool that there is a seperate book about Bree.
ReplyDeleteI finished it only hours after posting but am waiting to post my review util after I get to see Eclipse on the 8th so I can give my oppinion on both without straying too far from a more bookish topic but it was worth reading. It gave you a sense of closure to something that had been one of the parts of Eclipse that made many people upset. For those who can't remember Bree was a member of the newborn army who tried to surrender... The Cullen accepted... the vulturi didn't. I would say ti was worth the read even just for the background information into some of what was happening but it is also worthwhile because of her character and because it will hopefully make that part of Eclipse easier for me to handle, but that is just my opinion, go find out for yourself. Until the fifth of this month you can read it for free here: http://www.BreeTanner.com as a special gift from Stephanie Meyer to her fans!
ReplyDeleteopps I meant fifth of July
ReplyDeleteGreat teaser! I have this book to read, hopefully soon!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog!
Short and to the point! I like that!
ReplyDeleteYour teaser makes a good point! I still haven't picked this one up, and I'll have to check back for your review

Tomes Devotee
Since I've read all the others, I will probably pick this one up, too, one of these days. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by!
I am looking forward reading this book!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI have to admit here that I'm not a Twilighter, I tried to read Twighlight and could not get past the first chapter (and really don't get the excitement, but to each her/his own). However, this teaser makes me want to read this book. Do you think it would read well as a stand-alone novel?
ReplyDeleteInteresting! And awh! I just missed Tuesday. Now I can do this next week. :)
ReplyDeleteI still haven't decided if I want to chance reading this book or not. It's so incredibly short. Is it even worth the read?
I really enjoyed reading the posts on your blog. I would like to invite you to come over to my blog and check it out. God's blessings. Lloyd
ReplyDeleteLOL, she has a point there. Good teaser!
ReplyDeleteThanks for dropping by mine! :)
